Reid Russell had three RBIs, sparking Texas Prospects Black 18U to a 4-2 victory in seven innings over Warriors blue on Saturday at Franklin Ranch six.
He homered in the first inning and singled in the fourth inning.
Parker Towns racked up seven strikeouts in the Texas Prospects Black 18U win. Towns allowed two earned runs on four hits and three walks over six innings.
Texas Prospects Black 18U closer Jacob Walker put away the final three outs to record the save.
Texas Prospects Black 18U jumped out to an early 2-0 lead in the top of the first. Walker singled to ignite Texas Prospects Black 18U's offense, before Russell homered, bringing home Walker.
After a quick strike from Texas Prospects Black 18U, Warriors blue responded with two runs in the first. Warriors blue scored on a two-run double by #99.
Texas Prospects Black 18U stayed on top until the final out after taking the lead in the fourth, scoring two runs on an RBI single by Russell.

Tough Loss to Finish Season...

All Saints Episcopal Trojans Varsity loses 4-2 to Grapevine Faith Christian

Logan Bradford went 2-2, but All Saints Episcopal Trojans Varsity still fell to Grapevine Faith Christian 4-2 in seven innings on Monday at ASES.

Grapevine Faith Christian couldn't get anything going as long as Parker Towns was pitching. Parker held Grapevine Faith Christian hitless over 2 2/3 innings, allowed no earned runs, walked one (intentionally) and struck out three.

#15 got the win for Grapevine Faith Christian. He allowed two runs over 4 1/3 innings. #15 struck out four, walked three and gave up two hits.

Colton Oldham was charged with the loss. He lasted just 4 1/3 innings, walked none, struck out three, and allowed four runs.

All Saints Episcopal Trojans Varsity jumped out to an early 1-0 lead in the bottom of the second. Parker started the rally for All Saints Episcopal Trojans Varsity with a double. A passed ball then moved Parker from second to third. Parker then scored on a wild pitch.

The game's last lead went to Grapevine Faith Christian thanks to a third inning rally that saw two runs cross the plate on a sacrifice fly by #11.

ASES takes first of 3-game Series


All Saints Episcopal Trojans Varsitytops Grapevine Faith Christian in back-and-forth affair, 7-5

All Saints Episcopal Trojans Varsity and Grapevine Faith Christian traded the lead five times on Friday, but All Saints Episcopal Trojans Varsity ended up on top with a 7-5 win in seven innings over Grapevine Faith Christian.
All Saints Episcopal Trojans Varsity pulled out the win thanks to a strong fifth inning. All Saints Episcopal Trojans Varsity scored on a two-run single byAston Francis off #15, plating Jack Hamm and Logan Bradford. A two-run single by Aston scored Jack and Logan to give All Saints Episcopal Trojans Varsity the lead for good.
All Saints Episcopal Trojans Varsity staved off Grapevine Faith Christian as Grapevine Faith Christian was unable to match All Saints Episcopal Trojans Varsity down the stretch.
Grapevine Faith Christian scored one run in the seventh on a sacrifice fly by#1. Despite its efforts, Grapevine Faith Christian couldn't get over the hump.
Even though Parker Towns allowed five runs over 6 1/3 innings he still recorded the victory. Parker struck out seven, walked two and gave up eight hits.
#34 was charged with the loss. He lasted just 4 1/3 innings, walked four, struck out three, and allowed five runs.
The top of the first saw Grapevine Faith Christian take an early lead, 1-0. After #6 doubled, Grapevine Faith Christian kept the pressure on All Saints Episcopal Trojans Varsity pitching, as #11 doubled, bringing home #6.
